AGENDA HIGHLIGHTS
Surplus Land Disposition
Council approved the sale of a landlocked parcel of land in Nobleton near the intersection of King Road and Woodhill Avenue. The parcel is approximately 3.35 acres in size and has several land constraints making it unsuitable for municipal uses.

The property was conveyed to the Township as part of the development of the surrounding subdivision in the early 2000’s. Over the past twenty years there has been no defined municipal service or need identified for the property. The specified property has been identified over the last several years as a candidate for disposition due to the lack of physical access to the property and municipal need. The Township has been approached several times throughout the years from potential interested parties looking to acquire the parcel, including the most recent request in early 2025.
Staff will get an appraisal and survey done, approach adjacent landowners to gauge interest, and complete the negotiations and sale.
11th Concession Road Closure
Council approved the closure of the 11th Concession south of the 15th Sideroad from September 15 through December 16 to replace two culverts.

Notice of Motion
Councillor Schaefer gave Notice for a Motion she is going to introduce about expanding and strengthening Greenbelt protections. I seconded this motion which will appear on the October 14th Agenda. The timing is important as the province is required to do a 10-year-review of the Greenbelt Plan this year though no information on the process has been made available.
